Staywell Hotels & Gardens to Host Patron Appreciation Party

Having started in 2010 as a guesthouse establishment, by Mr and Mrs Yame Rakhudu in partnership with Lesedi Nthobatsang with the purpose and intentions to host many diverse local social events such weddings, parties and festivals as exhibited by Rasesa Social Picnics and the A1 Brunch until they were taken out of commission as did every hospitality industry by Corona Virus (Covid-19) for the past two years. Staywell has started off the New Year on a thanksgiving note with the “Friends of StayWell” appreciation party set to happen on the 26th of February 2022.
Staywell gardens general manager Neo briefly explained to the media what friends of staywell is as the events coordinator and Friends of Staywell representative. The idea to host Friends of Staywell came about during the brainstorming and discussion of a company/staff Christmas party last year 2020 that could not happen due to festive season being the peak time for business for the Staywell establishment. The mandate for Friends of Staywell is to appreciate and thank all the public stakeholders, patrons as well as business partners of Staywell establishments thus the name “Friends of Staywell Appreciation Party.” Friends of Staywell is said to be planned to happen twice a year with this upcoming one replacing the first installment that was postponed due to heavy rains on the 29th of January 2022.

With Staywell being one hundred percent locally owned the event looks to accommodate your day to day member of society and encourage full local public support by pricing their tickets from as low as eighty Pula general tickets to one hundred Pula standard tickets. More over there will be stalls given for free to the public of various products where the public can come and sell their goods exception given to food and beverages as those will be provided by Staywell. The event will be a family friendly one with child suited activities such as jumping castles, horseback riding, swimming, volleyball and several others as provided by Staywell gardens and most importantly, a percentage of the ticket proceedings will go to a Non-governmental Organizations (NGO) of Staywell and MYSC’s choice further cementing the mandate by Staywell to have the whole community benefit from this event.
The event, scheduled to happen on the 26th of February 2022 with local Tiktok influencer and comedian Theo a.k.a “Hey Nyenna” as the host will be graced with an all local line up from the likes of Charma gal, A.T.I as the headliner, Chrispin the Drummer, DJ Earth,DJ Ngwazi, Khoisan, Ancestral roots, Dr Vom, FME DJs, DJ Kuchi, Juicy soul and many more. Coolers boxes will be permitted, free before 4pm and charged fifty Pula after 4pm to allow for easier self-catering of patrons.
With COVID-19 still on the horizon, Staywell pledges to make the appropriate arrangements and adjustments as per protocol to cater for this on the day as well as any other necessary arrangements that might be needed to be made to make sure the friends of Staywell are happy and served well as per Staywell standards.
