Music has always been part of her life from early church days sound to many musical cultures. And for her she was not inspired by anyone rather than the music itself, the different sounds vibes, the feeling she got when hitting the right note. Get to know Rebaone Malala AKA FIFI B Botswana’s musician who uses her style of rhythm to tease and appease music lovers all over the world and whose passion for music started 2017. FIFI B is an Afro RNB artist and according to the muso the genre is a fusion of afro beats, funk, and house music. Her afro style of music is sophisticated sexy, provocative & stylish; fusion of African, European Urban & dancehall.
Her first ever recording was with world class ace music producer and label owner “Baze tu beats” (Nigeria). Together they worked on a Davido cover “IF” which received massive turn out online. She then worked with Daddy Blaiz (BW) & Topher (BW) on a song titled “Go down “. FIFi B goes on to explain taht her first performance was at Diamond city Tour an event that also featured Burna Boy & start boy Wizkid.
She later signed to Gifted Hands records (Nigeria) 2018 &worked on 5 tracks Ep that was produced by Baze Tu Beats & Tribal Tiido (BW). Still on the EP she featured Top Nigerian Artists Fresh Prince on a song called “Lagos Soon “Folly Jay on a song called “Mpulele” Her short intro to the EP “kgale ke kopa” has been making waves on YouTube.
She is currently working on a project titled” 20songs2020 “which will feature most BW artists and few international surprises too. She is worked with Obylardo, K Fros, Noxxie Buddy still more BW artists to feature by the end of the project which will drop November. When it comes to her creativity process she stated that it is different all the time, lot of ideas usually come from the sounds she hears outside {birds ,insects buzzing things falling .Sometimes she play around with instruments experimenting with different chords trying to create a cool sound in her head. Her sound is sophisticated provocative; fusion of African, European urban & dancehall
As someone who believes in unity through music she is always open to collaborate local artist and internationally starting with DJ MAPHORISA.
As we know everyone is affected by the pandemic, and for our start she currently making sure that her music is available online and radio so that it reaches people and to improve her music. And to entertain her fans she ensures that on a regular she drop songs online and share a lot of studio work, hashtags with pictures just so that her fans know and get to see her from home studio.
